Brother Taylor is so determined in his search for people to become part of the Faithful 500 program that he has engaged the service of an expert in the field of deduction. He is to deduce why there are still some who have not yet made a $10.00 a month faith promise to the OBI General Fund. Mr. Holmes' report read, "Elementary my dear Taylor, they need reminding."

In our last issue, I mentioned in connection with the 2006 Convocation highlights that Brother J. D. Smith passed up an elk hunt to be at Convocation. Well, as things worked out, he got another opportunity to go on an elk hunt after Convocation. He bagged the grand daddy of them all. ( Pictured at the right).

When Brother Smith called me with the news, I told him to send me a picture. I said, "I'll put it in the Standard Bearer with a note saying, "It pays to live right and come to convocation." Here it is!
